Yamaha Mwt-9 Review
"Buy a used Niken instead — it's the real thing."
Used Buyer Review
The MWT-9 is one of those bikes that makes you question everything you thought you knew about what a motorcycle should look like — and honestly, that's the point. Yamaha's three-wheeler concept never hit full production, so if you're hunting one down, you're chasing a show bike or prototype, not a dealership used unit. That said, the hub-center steering and leaning trike layout it previewed fed directly into the Niken, which did make production in 2018. If you're actually after the MWT-9 aesthetic and that three-wheel leaning experience, redirect your budget toward a used Niken. You'll get the real-world version of everything the concept promised — LMW tech, serious front-end grip, and that unmistakable presence. Used Nikens hover around $8,000-$12,000 and are genuinely rewarding machines once you trust the front end. Don't chase a ghost when the production version exists and is surprisingly practical.
