Aprilia Tuono V4 Factory Review
"The most viscerally exciting naked motorcycle money can sensibly buy used."
Used Buyer Review
The Tuono V4 Factory is basically a streetfighter built by engineers who forgot to install a conscience. That 1077cc V4 is savage in the most addictive way possible — it pulls hard from 4,000rpm and then absolutely loses its mind above 8,000. The Factory spec adds Öhlins suspension front and rear, and you'll feel every penny of that investment the moment you tip into a corner. It genuinely makes you a better rider by demanding respect. Buying used, you need to do your homework. Check the service history obsessively — these engines need valve clearances checked every 15,000km and that's not cheap. Look for crash damage around the radiator and fairing lowers, because owners push these hard. Electronics packages on 2015-plus bikes are excellent; avoid anything earlier if you want the full suite of riding modes and traction control. Fuel consumption is honest at around 35mpg if you're not being silly, which you won't be.
