Motoryk ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our AI-powered motorcycle inspection platform at motoryk.com.

4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the United States. We use the following security measures:
- All data transmitted via HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Photos stored in encrypted AWS S3 buckets with restricted access
- Database credentials are environment-separated and never exposed
- Payment processing handled entirely by PayPal (PCI-DSS compliant)
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): Cloud hosting, storage (S3), AI processing (Bedrock)
- PayPal: Payment processing — subject to PayPal's Privacy Policy
- Google: Authentication (Sign-In) — subject to Google's Privacy Policy
- Matomo: Privacy-focused analytics (self-hosted, no data shared with third parties)
- Anthropic (Claude AI): AI analysis engine — photos are processed and not retained by Anthropic
6. Data Retention
- Inspection data & photos: Retained for 12 months after the inspection, then automatically deleted
- Account data: Retained as long as your account is active
- Payment records: Retained for 7 years for legal/tax compliance
- Analytics data: Aggregated and anonymized after 6 months
You may request early deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8).
7. Cookies & Tracking
We use minimal cookies:
- Session cookie: Keeps you logged in during your visit (essential)
- Analytics cookie: Matomo analytics for usage statistics (can be opted out)
We do not use advertising cookies or share data with ad networks.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Export: Receive your data in a portable format
- Opt-out: Disable analytics tracking
