Yamaha Fzs Fi V3 Review
"A genuinely capable commuter that rewards buyers who inspect carefully."
Used Buyer Review
The FZS FI V3 is one of those bikes that punches well above its asking price in the used market. The fuel injection sorts out the cold-start issues that plagued earlier carb versions, and the LED headlight setup genuinely impresses at night. Chassis feels planted and predictable — commuting or weekend blasts, it handles both without complaint. Engine pulls cleanly from low revs and the 149cc single has enough punch to keep urban riding genuinely fun without terrifying new riders. That said, go over any used example with a fine-tooth comb. Check the ABS sensor wiring — it's a known weak point and replacements aren't cheap. Inspect the exhaust header for rust, especially bikes over two years old kept outdoors. Service history matters enormously here; neglected valve clearances on the V3 will bite you hard later. Avoid anything with crash damage on the right-side fairing — that corner takes the worst hits and repairs rarely look factory-fresh.
