Triumph Street Triple Rs Review
"The used RS is arguably the best value performance naked available today."
Used Buyer Review
The Street Triple RS is genuinely one of the best middleweight nakeds ever built, and buying used makes it a serious bargain. The 765cc triple is the real star here — it pulls hard from 4,000rpm, absolutely screams to the redline, and sounds incredible doing it. Quickshifter works both ways and actually functions properly, which isn't something you can say about every bike in this class. The Öhlins NIX30 forks and TTX36 rear shock are legitimately premium suspension that you'd pay thousands to retrofit elsewhere. That said, go in with your eyes open. These bikes attract enthusiastic owners, so check for track damage — inspect the bodywork carefully and look for scuffs on the frame sliders. The exhaust headers are stainless and prone to bluing, purely cosmetic but worth negotiating on. Early 2017-2018 models had occasional TFT display glitches, solved with software updates most dealers can handle for free. Service intervals hit at 10,000 miles and aren't cheap — budget accordingly and verify the history is documented.
