Sym Nht 125 Review
"Honest, reliable commuter that punches its weight used."
Used Buyer Review
The SYM NHT 125 is one of those bikes that quietly does everything right without ever getting your pulse racing. It's a retro-styled naked that actually looks decent in the metal — the round headlight and clean tank lines hold up well used. Taiwanese build quality from SYM is genuinely solid; these things don't rot or rattle apart like some budget Chinese machinery. Check the chain and sprockets on any used example because owners tend to neglect them, and inspect the fork seals carefully. They can weep early if the bike's been stored outside. Power-wise, don't expect miracles. The 125cc single is fine for commuting but it's genuinely breathless above 65mph. That's not a criticism exactly — it's just reality. What you do get is smooth, predictable power delivery and fuel economy that'll make you feel smug. The handling is neutral and undemanding, which beginners will appreciate. Experienced riders might find it characterless, but for the money, used examples around $1,500-$2,000 represent decent value if the service history checks out.
