Suzuki built something genuinely handsome here — the bodywork holds up well against bikes twice the price. The 155cc motor is smooth, pulls cleanly from low revs, and returns mid-40s fuel economy without trying. For city commuting and weekend blasts on B-roads, it's honestly hard to fault. Buy used and you need to check a few things specifically. The fuel injection system on pre-2019 bikes can get flaky if the previous owner ran cheap fuel consistently — look for hesitation under acceleration. Chain and sprocket wear is common on high-mileage examples because budget riders skip maintenance. Also verify the frame hasn't been repaired after a drop; the fairings hide damage embarrassingly well. For a first proper sporty bike or a sensible second machine, the Gixxer 150 makes a genuine case. Just don't overpay — depreciation on these is modest, and desperate sellers exist.
