The 1390 Super Duke R is KTM's most unhinged street bike yet, and buying one used means someone else absorbed that brutal initial depreciation hit. The 1350cc LC8 twin punches out 187bhp with a savagery that genuinely catches you off guard even after thousands of miles — this thing does not pretend to be anything other than a weapon. First-year examples (2024) have shown some teething issues with the IMU calibration and a few owners have reported cornering ABS behaving oddly in cold conditions, so insist on a full dealer service history and check for the latest software updates before handing over cash. The semi-active WP suspension is genuinely transformative on these bikes — make sure it's been kept up on servicing because neglected units get lazy and the handling suffers noticeably. Seat comfort is typically KTM terrible beyond 90 minutes, and the fuel consumption on a spirited ride will genuinely shock you.
