Keeway Rk 125 Review
"Acceptable starter bike if you keep expectations firmly in check."
Used Buyer Review
The Keeway RK125 is exactly what it looks like — a budget-friendly naked that punches about as hard as its price tag suggests. For a new rider hunting their first bike without destroying their savings, it makes reasonable sense. The single-cylinder engine is adequate for city commuting, pulls cleanly enough below 60mph, and the styling genuinely isn't embarrassing. Used examples around 2-3 years old with low mileage can represent decent value if the previous owner treated it right. Here's the honest part though — build quality is where Keeway cuts corners. Electrics are the first thing to cause grief, so inspect every light, switch, and connector before handing over cash. Check the fork seals, because cheap internals mean they weep early. Parts availability has improved but it's still nowhere near Japanese reliability. Budget for consumables sooner than you'd expect, because brakes and tyres are genuinely budget-grade equipment from the factory. Buy one knowing its limitations and it'll serve you fine for a year or two. Expect Honda quality and you'll be disappointed before the first service.
