Honda CB1000 Hornet Review
"The smartest all-rounder naked you can currently buy used."

Used Buyer Review
The CB1000 Hornet is Honda doing what Honda does best — building something sensible that somehow ends up being genuinely exciting. That 1000cc inline-four pulls hard from pretty much anywhere in the rev range, and the semi-active suspension on higher-spec models transforms what could've been a budget-feeling naked into something that actually handles. It's not trying to be an Africa Twin or a Fireblade, and that honesty is refreshing. Used examples are mostly clean because the kind of people who buy these aren't typically hooligans. Check the throttle-by-wire system and make sure the riding modes all cycle correctly — a faulty sensor can throw gremlins. The 17.7-litre tank sounds decent until you're doing motorway miles at pace and realising 200km is your realistic range. Ergonomics suit most riders without feeling like a compromise, which is rarer than it should be at this price point.
