Dieser 1854-cm3-V-Twin zieht quasi aus dem Leerlauf — wenn Sie als Sechster bei 2.500 U/min Gas geben, dreht er einfach klaglos nach vorne, was auf langen Autobahnstrecken süchtig macht. Die Kraftstoffeinspritzung war vom ersten Tag an gut sortiert, es gab kein Stolpern oder Kaltstartdrama, das einige Konkurrenten mit Vergaserbetrieb plagte. Bei 331 kg spürt man das Gewicht auf Parkplätzen und bei langsamen Kehrtwenden, aber wenn es einmal eingerollt ist, trägt es sich überraschend gut, und dank der 700 mm Sitzhöhe können auch kleinere Fahrer ihn plattfüßen. Mein Hauptkritikpunkt nach zwei Jahren: Die Vibration über 5.000 U/min fühlt sich an Händen und Füßen wirklich unangenehm an, aber ehrlich gesagt will dieser Motor sowieso nie über 5.000 U/min sein — er ist für rollenden Donner gebaut, nicht für rote Linien.
