Triumph's triple-cylinder engine is the real star here — that 955cc unit pulls hard from low revs and sounds absolutely brilliant doing it. Fuel injection on later models cleaned up the fuelling issues that plagued the carbed predecessors, so stick to 2002 onwards if you can. Watch for a few specific headaches on used examples.
