Suzuki V-strom 250

Proven Reliable Engine
The V-Strom 250 shares its parallel-twin engine lineage with the well-regarded Inazuma 250, giving it a strong reliability track record with minimal reported mechanical failures when serviced regularly.
Watch for Chain Wear
The most common owner complaint is faster-than-expected chain and sprocket wear, so inspect these components carefully on used examples and budget for replacement if buying second-hand.
Strong Resale Value
The V-Strom 250 holds its value well in the small-displacement adventure segment due to limited competition and consistent demand from new riders, making it a smart buy that's easy to sell later.

Recenzja używanego kupującego
"Dependable urban workhorse that overpromises adventure and underdelivers speed."
$3,500-$5,500 usedThe V-Strom 250 is essentially a baby adventure bike that delivers exactly what it promises — nothing more. That parallel-twin pulls smoothly from low revs and the upright riding position genuinely reduces fatigue on longer commutes. Used examples tend to be babied by nervous new riders or hammered by overconfident ones, so inspect the crash bungs and subframe carefully before handing over any cash. Fuel economy is genuinely impressive — expect 70-plus mpg without trying — and the bike is mechanically simple enough that a competent home mechanic can handle most maintenance. The suspension is the weak point on worn examples; front forks go soft after 15,000 miles and rear shock preload adjusters seize solid. Budget accordingly. Don't let anyone sell you this as a touring machine. It runs out of puff above 70mph and the screen creates turbulence rather than deflecting it. Buy it for what it is: an honest, reliable urban commuter with light weekend capability. Find a clean one-owner example and you'll have very few complaints.
