Suzuki Gsx-s1000f

The Suzuki Gsx-s1000f has a top speed of 250 km/h (electronically limited), produces 148 hp and weighs 215 kg. Motoryk rates it 8/10.

🔧

Proven GSX-R Engine

The GSX-S1000F uses a detuned version of the legendary GSX-R1000 K5 engine, known for exceptional long-term reliability. With proper maintenance, these motors routinely exceed 50,000+ miles without major issues.

⚠️

Watch the Throttle Bodies

Some owners report rough low-speed fueling and occasional throttle body sync issues, especially on early 2015-2016 models. A throttle body synchronization service and ECU flash can significantly smooth out the ride.

💰

Strong Resale Value

The GSX-S1000F holds its value well compared to competitors due to its sporty pedigree and practical fairing. Buying used in the 3-5 year range often delivers excellent value with most depreciation already absorbed.

Lo mejor para
Experienced riders wanting litre-bike thrills affordably

"A fire-breathing bargain that rewards experienced riders with maturity."

$6,500-$9,500 used

The GSX-S1000F is basically a GSX-R1000 engine stuffed into a half-faired touring-ish body, and honestly that's not a bad thing at all. The 2005-era superbike motor has been detuned slightly for street manners but it still hits hard between 6,000-10,000rpm in a way that'll catch you off guard if you're coming from a middleweight. Traction control and three riding modes make it manageable, but don't let that fool you into complacency. Used examples from 2016-2018 are the sweet spot right now. Watch for worn rear tyres from owners who discovered that throttle too enthusiastically, and check the fairing lowers for parking lot tip-over scuffs — they're annoyingly expensive to replace. The suspension is notably budget on stock setup, so if it hasn't been serviced it'll feel wallowy. Fork seals are a known weak point by 20,000 miles. For the money, nothing touches it on outright performance. It's raw, rewarding, and occasionally terrifying — everything a proper litre bike should be.
