Ducati Monster 1200
Ducati Monster 1200 został wprowadzony w 2014 roku jako znacząca ewolucja linii Monster, zastępując Monster 1100 EVO mocniejszym dwcylindrowym silnikiem Testastretta 11° i nowoczesną elektroniką. Stanowiło to duży krok naprzód dla serii Monster, oferując Ducati Traction Control, ABS i tryby jazdy po raz pierwszy na nagim Monsterze. Nastąpiły warianty 1200 S i R, umocniając go jako flagowy rower naked w gamie Ducati, aż ostatecznie został wycofany około 2021 roku na korzyść Monster 937.

Co kupujący powinni wiedzieć
Desmodromic Valve Service
The Testastretta 11° engine requires desmodromic valve adjustments every 18,000 miles — a specialized service that can cost $600–$1,200 at a dealer. Always verify this maintenance is up to date before buying used.
Steep Depreciation Curve
Ducati Monsters typically lose 20–30% of their value within the first two years, making a 2–3 year old used example a strong value buy. Resale stabilizes considerably after that initial drop.
Watch the Clutch Slave
The hydraulic clutch slave cylinder is a known weak point on early Monster 1200 models and can develop leaks over time. It's an inexpensive fix but inspect for any fluid seepage around the unit before purchasing.
Pokolenia i specyfikacje według roku
Przedstawiono silnik Testastretta 11° o pojemności 1198 cm3, stalowa rama kratowa o mocy 135 KM, agresywny styl naked.
Poprawiona ergonomia, zaktualizowany pakiet elektroniczny, ABS na zakrętach, kontrola trakcji, drobne udoskonalenia kosmetyczne i zawieszenia.
Recenzja używanego kupującego
"Flawed, expensive, and completely impossible to resist buying."
$8,500-$14,000 usedThe Monster 1200 is a genuinely brilliant motorcycle that'll absolutely ruin you for anything sensible. That 1198cc L-twin punches hard from idle, pulls like a freight train mid-range, and sounds absolutely filthy through the Termignoni cans that most previous owners have already fitted. Handling is sharp without being nervous — this is a proper motorcycle that rewards commitment rather than punishing it. Here's the thing nobody tells you upfront: Ducati servicing costs are real. Budget £400-600 for desmo valve clearance checks every 18,000 miles, and they cannot be skipped. Check service history religiously. Pre-2016 bikes ran dry clutches that chatter and drag in traffic — annoying but fixable. Wet clutch models from 2016 onward are dramatically nicer to live with daily. Electronics package on S models is genuinely excellent, not gimmicky.
