It's not fast in a straight line by modern standards, but it doesn't need to be. Buying used means doing your homework. Check the Ohlins suspension carefully — rebuild costs are real money. The dry clutch rattles like a tin of bolts at idle, which is normal, but slipping or juddering means budget accordingly.
