Aprilia Dorsoduro 900

The Aprilia Dorsoduro 900 has a top speed of 210 km/h (estimated), produces 95 hp and weighs 215 kg. Motoryk rates it 7.8/10.

⚙️

Shared Tuono Engine

The Dorsoduro 900 uses the same 896cc 90-degree V-twin from the Aprilia Tuono 900, a proven motor known for strong mid-range torque and solid reliability when properly maintained with regular oil changes.

⚠️

Watch the Throttle Bodies

Some owners report throttle body synchronization issues causing rough idle or hesitation, so always request service records and check for dealer-performed TPS resets before buying used.

💰

Steady Resale Value

The Dorsoduro 900 holds its value reasonably well in the supermoto segment due to limited production numbers and its premium Aprilia branding, making low-mileage examples particularly desirable on the used market.

Lo mejor para
Experienced riders wanting character over convenience daily

"A flawed masterpiece that punishes neglect but rewards passionate ownership."

$6,500-$9,500 used

The Dorsoduro 900 is one of those bikes that rewards riders who actually want to engage with their motorcycle rather than just sit on it. That 900cc V-twin pulls hard from low revs and sounds genuinely aggressive through the standard exhaust — upgrade it and your neighbors will hate you. The chassis is tight and communicative, and the Brembo brakes are class-leading for this segment. It's a proper hooligan tool dressed in Italian clothes. Used examples need careful inspection though. Check the throttle bodies for carbon buildup — it's a known issue that causes rough idling and stumbling below 3,000rpm. Earlier 2017-2018 models had some ECU mapping quirks that dealers sorted under warranty, so verify service history religiously. Fairings and bodywork are expensive to replace, so inspect every panel for crash damage. These bikes attract spirited riders, and some were ridden accordingly. Maintenance costs are real. Valve clearances every 9,000 miles, Italian dealer labor rates, and parts pricing that'll make you wince. Budget accordingly and you'll own something genuinely special.
