Used Buyer Review

The Varg EX is genuinely impressive hardware, but buying one used demands serious homework. First thing — pull the battery cycle count through the Stark app before handing over any cash. These packs aren't cheap to replace, and a bike that's been charged carelessly or hammered at a track day every weekend will show it. Anything over 300 cycles on a hard-used unit should knock serious money off the asking price. Check the swingarm pivot, linkage bearings, and that aluminum frame around the head tube for any stress cracks. These bikes work hard. The software side is actually a used buyer's friend — Stark's app logs riding data, so you can see how the previous owner actually rode it. That's gold. Mechanically, these are simpler than any MX bike you've owned, but the electric motor's magnets and stator are expensive if cooked. Make sure it doesn't overheat in slow technical riding. If everything checks out, you're getting a genuinely fast, polished machine that'll embarrass 450s on tight tracks.

Pros

+Exceptional power-to-weight ratio
+App reveals full service history
+Near-zero mechanical maintenance
+Adjustable power, truly useful
+Swedish build quality throughout

Cons

-Battery replacement costs bite hard
-Limited used market pricing data
-Charging infrastructure still awkward
-Spares availability remains patchy
