GASGAS EX 450 Factory Review
"The smartest way to buy a KTM without paying KTM money."
Key Specs
Used Buyer Review
The EX 450 Factory is essentially a KTM 450 EXC-F wearing red plastics — and that's not a criticism. Same WP XACT suspension, same engine internals, same brilliant six-speed gearbox that makes this thing genuinely street-usable. If you're buying used, check the hours on the engine religiously. These motors are bulletproof when maintained but previous owners who skipped oil changes will have left you a ticking bomb. Look for a service history and listen for any top-end rattle at idle. The Factory edition specifically gets factory-prepped suspension settings and a quickshifter, which genuinely transforms trail riding. Previous owners often mess with the suspension clickers trying to improve things — ask if it's been returned to stock. Worn linkage bearings are a common issue around the 100-hour mark, budget for that immediately if there's any slop in the rear end. Priced right, this is one of the most versatile enduro machines you can buy used. It's legitimately competitive in amateur racing but comfortable enough for weekend trail bashing.
