Used Buyer Review
The 300SR is one of those bikes that makes you question why anyone pays a premium for a badge. You get a 292cc single pumping out around 27bhp, a proper inverted fork, radial-mount four-pot caliper, and full fairing bodywork that genuinely looks like a baby supersport rather than a cheap copy. On the road it's peppy up to about 70mph, then the single starts buzzing through the bars and pegs and you remember what you paid. Used buying is where you need your eyes open. Check the finish hard โ fasteners and bracketry can bloom with surface rust after a couple of winters, and some early bikes had grumbly rear shocks and inconsistent fuelling at small throttle openings. Verify the service book is actually stamped; CFMoto dealer networks are patchier than the mainstream brands, and an orphaned bike with a lapsed warranty is a different proposition. Ask about the ECU update if fuelling feels snatchy. It's a brilliant first big-ish bike or cheap commuter, but residuals are soft, so buy used and let someone else eat the depreciation.
