Yamaha Tmax 530

Watch the CVT Belt
The continuously variable transmission belt should be inspected every 10,000–15,000 km and replaced around 20,000 km. Neglected belts can snap unexpectedly, leaving you stranded and causing secondary damage.
Strong Resale Value
The TMAX 530 holds its value exceptionally well compared to most scooters, often retaining 70–80% of its value after 3 years. Its premium positioning in the maxi-scooter segment keeps used demand consistently high.
Proven, Reliable Engine
The 530cc parallel-twin engine is widely regarded as one of the most reliable powerplants in the scooter world, with many owners exceeding 100,000 km with only routine maintenance. Regular oil changes every 5,000 km are key to longevity.

Avaliação do comprador usado
"The premium maxi-scooter benchmark that still embarrasses newer rivals."
$5,500-$9,500 usedThe TMAX 530 sits in a weird but brilliant middle ground — it's not a scooter you'll be embarrassed to park next to proper bikes, and it's not a motorcycle that'll intimidate newer riders. Yamaha's 530cc parallel-twin pulls surprisingly hard from low revs, and the dual-clutch automatic transmission on later SX models is genuinely clever, not a gimmick. For city commuting into weekend canyon runs, few machines cover that ground as competently. Buying used, check the CVT belt carefully — they're not cheap to replace and previous owners often ignore the service intervals. The underseat storage is smaller than you'd expect for something this size, and if you're over six-foot, the ergonomics get cramped on longer stints. Pre-2017 models lack the keyless ignition and revised suspension that make the bike significantly more refined. Spend the extra money for a 2017-onwards example if you can — the improvements are real and tangible, not just badge engineering.
