Yamaha Mio Soul Gt 125

⚙️

Blue Core Engine Efficiency

The Mio Soul GT 125 features Yamaha's Blue Core technology, delivering around 50-55 km/L fuel efficiency. This makes it one of the most fuel-efficient automatics in its class, saving owners significant money long-term.

⚠️

Watch the CVT Belt

The CVT belt and rollers are common wear items that should be inspected every 10,000–15,000 km. Neglected CVT maintenance is the top complaint among owners and can lead to sluggish acceleration or sudden failure.

💰

Strong Resale Value

Yamaha's trusted brand reputation in Southeast Asia keeps the Mio Soul GT holding resale value better than many competitors. Well-maintained units typically retain 60–70% of their value after 3 years.

Daily urban commuters prioritizing economy over everything

"Bulletproof city scooter that punishes anyone wanting more."

$800-$1,600 used

The Mio Soul GT 125 is exactly what it looks like — a practical, no-drama urban commuter that does its job without ever exciting you. The Blue Core engine is genuinely impressive for the displacement, returning fuel economy that'll make you question why anyone buys a car. CVT transmission is smooth, throttle response is predictable, and the underseat storage swallows a full-face helmet without complaint. For city grinding, it's hard to argue against. Buying used, you need to check the CVT belt and rollers first — they wear faster than owners admit, and a neglected drivetrain sounds horrible under load. Inspect the telescopic forks for leaks and check whether the previous owner ever serviced the air filter. These bikes often live hard city lives with minimal maintenance love. The 125cc ceiling will frustrate anyone venturing onto faster roads or highways. It tops out around 95-100 kph and feels genuinely stressed getting there. Purely urban machine — respect that limitation and it's a solid, reliable buy.
