毎日の通勤と週末のブラストを2年間かけて、2010年のGTS 300スーパーテックに12,000km近く走ったところ、スクーターに対する考え方が大きく変わりました。QUASARエンジンこそが本物です。ライトから離れると、車のドライバーが不意を突くような使用可能なミッドレンジが急増し、高速道路のスリップロードを時速123kmで走ると、ホワイトナックルではなく、完全に落ち着いた感じがします。オプションのABSは何の価値もありました。ローマの路面電車の濡れた線路でも機能し、目立たず、邪魔にならないように感じました。ただし、弱点は現実です。160kgは都市部のUターンには重く、座席下の収納スペースはハーフフェイスのヘルメットにほとんどフィットせず、初期の例ではウォームアップするとアイドル状態でハントできるスロットルボディがありました。ディーラーはそれを知っていて、ファームウェアのフラッシュがそれを分類することが多かったのですが、そのように出荷すべきではありませんでした。

The keyless ignition and smartphone connectivity on later models are genuinely useful, not gimmicks. Built quality is exceptional; Italian assembly on these is tight. Here's where it gets honest though — maintenance costs bite. Dealer servicing is expensive and independent scooter shops sometimes won't touch the electronics. Check the ABS pump carefully, it's a known weak point on pre-2019 models. Tyres are pricey non-standard sizes. The underseat storage is laughably small for a machine this sophisticated.
