Triumph got the engine right — that 800cc triple has a character the parallel twins from Japan simply can't match. It pulls cleanly from low revs, sounds properly fruity at the top, and never feels like it's working hard. For real-world riding, it's almost perfectly sized: narrow enough for commuting, capable enough for two-up touring, and flickable on twisty B-roads in a way a 1200 adventure bike never will be.
