That LC8 V-twin is an absolute animal — raw, torquey, and completely unfiltered in a way modern bikes simply aren't anymore. KTM built something genuinely special here, and the used market knows it. Prices have actually crept back up as people realize what they had. Buy one right and it'll reward you endlessly. Buy one wrong and you're funding someone else's neglect. These bikes attracted riders who rode hard and occasionally maintained soft. Check the frame for stress cracks around the headstock, inspect the WP suspension for leaks, and verify the throttle bodies have been synced recently. The subframe bolts love to work loose.
