J'ai parcouru environ 18 000 kilomètres sur une Revo 2009 et l'appareil a tout simplement refusé de s'arrêter : l'huile est changée tous les 3 000 clics et elle n'arrêtait pas de tourner. L'OHC 110 fonctionne parfaitement à bas régime, et dans la circulation urbaine, cette puissance fluide et linéaire est plus importante que les modestes 8,4 chevaux sur le papier. Son budget se situe à plus de 80 km/h : les fourches classiques font preuve de souplesse sur un asphalte accidenté, l'arrière du tambour se bloque plus facilement que prévu et un vent de plus de 90 degrés devient vraiment fatiguant sur les longs trajets. Ce n'est pas passionnant, mais si votre vie est consacrée à la conduite en province et que vous avez besoin de quelque chose qu'un cousin peut entretenir avec des outils de base, le Revo Gen 1 mérite sa vie.

Check the cam chain tensioner — it's the one weak spot that chatters when neglected. The carbureted engine is dead simple to work on, and parts are laughably cheap. That said, don't romanticize it.
