Honda Grom 125

The Honda Grom 125 has a top speed of 105 km/h, produces 9.7 hp and weighs 102 kg. Motoryk rates it 8/10.

🔧

Rock-Solid Reliability

The Grom's 125cc single-cylinder engine is nearly bulletproof, with many owners reporting 20,000+ miles with minimal maintenance beyond oil changes. Honda's build quality means mechanical issues are rare when serviced regularly.

💰

Strong Resale Value

The Grom holds its value exceptionally well, often selling used for close to its original MSRP, especially in good condition. High demand and a loyal fanbase keep prices stable in the used market.

⚠️

Watch for Mods Gone Wrong

The Grom is extremely popular for customization, so inspect used bikes carefully for poorly installed aftermarket parts, especially exhausts and electrical modifications. Heavily modified examples may have hidden reliability issues.

Évaluation d'un acheteur d'occasion

8.0/10
Idéal pour
Urban commuters and new riders wanting quality

"The perfect urban tool that actually makes experienced riders smile."

$2,500-$4,500 used

The Grom is genuinely one of the smartest used buys in motorcycling right now, and I say that as someone who's spent time on everything from R1s to adventure bikes. That 125cc four-speed makes maybe 10 horsepower, but in the real world — filtering through traffic, blasting around car parks, learning bike control — it's an absolute riot. Honda built this thing properly too, not like the cheap Chinese 125s it superficially resembles. The build quality holds up well used. That said, check the plastics carefully on any used example. Grom owners love customising these things, and not always tastefully or safely. Look for crash damage, mismatched fairings, and dodgy aftermarket exhausts that may have nuked the fuelling. The frame and engine themselves are tough as nails, but the electronics on pre-2021 bikes are pretty basic. Also worth knowing — highway use is genuinely miserable. Sitting at 70mph with the motor screaming is a one-way ticket to hating life.
