Suzuki Gsx-r125 Review
"The smartest A1 starter bike money can buy used."
Used Buyer Review
The GSX-R125 is genuinely the best-looking small-capacity bike on the market, and Suzuki deserves credit for giving A1-licence riders something that doesn't look embarrassing parked next to the big guns. The 124cc single-cylinder engine is smooth enough for city work and the chassis actually teaches you good habits — it rewards corner commitment and punishes lazy riding in a way that makes you a better motorcyclist. That's not nothing. Buying used though, check the rear tyre wear obsessively — new riders hammer them. Look for chain slack and sprocket wear, both are frequently neglected. The 2017-2018 examples can show fuel system niggles, so a pre-purchase inspection matters. Fairings crack easily and panels are pricey to replace, so inspect every panel join. Anything with track day history or signs of a drop, walk away immediately — these frames don't forgive abuse.
