Used Buyer Review

The MyRoad 700 is Kymco's attempt at the big-bike cruiser market, and honestly, it's more competent than the badge suggests. The parallel twin pulls cleanly from low revs, the shaft drive means zero maintenance drama, and it's genuinely comfortable for two-up riding. For the money you'll pay used, nothing else comes close on spec sheet value. Here's the reality check though: parts availability is the elephant in the room. Your local dealer almost certainly won't stock anything, and you're ordering from specialist importers with wait times that'll test your patience. The finish quality on earlier examples also deteriorates faster than Japanese rivals โ€” check the chrome carefully and inspect the switchgear, which can feel cheap and occasionally sticky after a few years. That said, the engine itself is surprisingly robust if it's been serviced properly. Ask for records, check the drive shaft boots, and test every electrical item thoroughly before handing over cash. Get one in good condition and you'll have a genuinely capable, comfortable tourer that'll turn heads for surprisingly little money.

Pros

+Shaft drive, zero chain fuss
+Strong low-rev torque
+Excellent used value proposition
+Comfortable two-up capability
+Surprisingly robust engine

Cons

-Parts availability is painful
-Chrome and finish ages poorly
-Switchgear feels budget-grade
-Resale value drops sharply
