Used Buyer Review

The Click 125i is Honda's bread-and-butter Southeast Asian scooter, and honestly, the used market is flooded with them for good reason. Mechanically, they're bulletproof — the eSP engine sips fuel like nothing else and will hit 50,000km with basic maintenance. When you're shopping used, check the variator rollers first; owners skip that service every time. Belt condition matters too. The idling ACG starter is genuinely clever and works perfectly until it doesn't, so listen carefully for any unusual startup hesitation. Ride quality is competent rather than exciting. The suspension handles city potholes adequately but gets overwhelmed on rougher provincial roads. Braking with CBS is reassuring for newer riders but feels slightly artificial to anyone with experience. Storage under the seat is generous — laptop fits easily. Fuel gauge accuracy deteriorates on older units, so factor that in. Buy a 2018 or newer with a documented service history and you're getting one of Asia's most reliable daily commuters at a sensible price. Avoid anything that's clearly been a grab-food delivery bike.

Pros

+Exceptional long-term reliability
+Excellent real-world fuel economy
+Generous underseat storage space
+Strong parts availability everywhere
+Smooth eSP engine character

Cons

-Suspension struggles on rough roads
-CBS braking feels artificial
-Variator service often neglected
-Unremarkable highway performance
