Used Buyer Review

The Leoncino 250 is essentially a pretty face with modest ambitions, and if you go in knowing that, you'll probably enjoy it. The neo-retro scrambler styling genuinely turns heads, and for new riders or someone wanting a relaxed city commuter, it does the basics competently enough. Suspension soaks up urban potholes reasonably well, and the riding position is comfortable for shorter stints. Here's where used examples get tricky though. Benelli's dealer network in most markets is patchy at best, and parts availability can turn a minor repair into a months-long headache. Check the service history obsessively โ€” these engines don't love neglect, and a skipped oil change shows up fast. Electrical gremlins have appeared on higher-mileage examples, so inspect wiring and switchgear carefully. The 249cc single produces around 26hp, which feels adequate to 60mph but runs out of enthusiasm well before the motorway.

Pros

+Genuinely attractive scrambler styling
+Comfortable upright riding position
+Lightweight and easy handling
+Reasonable urban fuel economy
+Affordable used pricing

Cons

-Poor dealer and parts network
-Engine hates neglected maintenance
-Motorway use feels strained
-Known electrical reliability concerns
