Yamaha Yzf-r1m

The Yamaha Yzf-r1m has a top speed of 299 km/h (electronically limited; estimated ~305+ km/h unlim.), produces 200 hp and weighs 202 kg. Motoryk rates it 9/10.

R1M umocnił reputację Yamahy w zakresie łączenia fabrycznej technologii wyścigowej z motocyklami legalnymi dla ruchu drogowego i otrzymał okresowe aktualizacje, aby utrzymać konkurencyjność w elitarnym segmencie superbike.

Co kupujący powinni wiedzieć

🏁

Track-Ready Electronics Package

The R1M comes with Öhlins Electronic Racing Suspension (ERS) and a full suite of MotoGP-derived electronics including a 6-axis IMU. This makes it one of the most technologically advanced production motorcycles available, justifying its premium price.

⚠️

Watch the ERS System

The Öhlins ERS can be expensive to service or repair, with sensor failures being a known issue on older units. Always verify the electronic suspension is fully functional before buying used, as repairs can exceed $1,500.

💰

Strong Resale Value

The R1M holds its value exceptionally well due to its limited production numbers and collector appeal. Low-mileage examples often sell close to or above original MSRP in the used market, making it a relatively safe investment.

Najlepszy dla
Experienced track riders wanting ultimate street-legal weapon

"The best R1M money can buy if you know what you're doing."

$16,000-$22,000 used

The R1M is genuinely special — Yamaha's crossplane inline-four with that irregular firing order delivers torque that feels nothing like a conventional four-cylinder, and the Öhlins electronic suspension is legitimately track-day sorcery. On a used example, budget hard for inspection costs because previous owners often thrashed these on track days, and the electronics suite needs proper calibration to work correctly. Check the IMU, ECU connectors, and ask for service history religiously. The carbon fiber bodywork scratches if you breathe on it wrong, and replacement panels will make you genuinely emotional about money. Suspension settings are deep and rewarding if you understand them, but confusing and frustrating if you don't — it rewards riders who do their homework. Expect 120-140hp even used, and respect that immediately. For street riding it's honestly overkill but spectacular. Track riders get the full picture. The R1M doesn't suffer fools, but rewards committed, experienced riders with one of the most communicative chassis packages ever bolted together in Iwata.
