That crossplane CP4 engine — borrowed straight from the R1 — delivers a brutally addictive powerband that'll have you grinning like an idiot on any road. First-gen bikes (2016-2021) are bargains right now, and the chassis is still sharp enough to embarrass sportbikes half its age. Just budget for suspension upgrades if you're riding hard — stock units are mediocre for the performance on offer. Check the service history obsessively.
