Triumph Tiger 1200 Gt Pro

⚙️

Semi-Active Suspension Edge

The GT Pro features Triumph's Showa semi-active suspension with automatic adjustment, a feature typically found on bikes costing significantly more. This system adapts in real-time to road conditions, reducing rider fatigue on long tours.

⚠️

Watch the Electronics

Some early 2022-2023 models had reported software glitches affecting the TFT display and rider modes, though Triumph addressed most issues via dealer software updates. Always verify the bike has the latest firmware before purchasing used.

💰

Strong Resale Value

The Tiger 1200 GT Pro holds its value well compared to rivals like the BMW R 1250 GS, retaining roughly 75-80% of its value after one year. Its premium spec and Triumph brand appeal keep demand steady in the used market.

Évaluation d'un acheteur d'occasion

8.5/10
Idéal pour
Experienced tourers wanting GS-beating technology cheaper

"The most capable used adventure tourer you can buy right now."

$14,000-$18,500 used

The Tiger 1200 GT Pro is genuinely impressive technology wrapped in a heavyweight package. That 1160cc triple pulls hard from low revs and sounds properly good doing it, and Triumph's semi-active suspension transforms what should be an unwieldy machine into something surprisingly composed. Check service history religiously — the valve clearance intervals catch owners out, and skipped services aren't cheap to rectify. Electronics are mostly brilliant but early examples had software gremlins with the cornering ABS and cruise control dropping out unexpectedly. Most were sorted under warranty, so verify any recall work was completed. Used prices have settled into a sweet spot now. You're getting genuine GS-fighter capability at a significant discount to new, and Triumph's build quality has been solid. That said, weigh it up carefully if you're under six feet — the seat height and heft at low speed demand respect. It's not a casual motorcycle. Fuel economy hovers around 45mpg mixed, which is acceptable for the performance on offer. Budget for tyres; it eats Metzeler Tourance Nexts faster than you'd expect.
