Kawasaki built this thing properly — real suspension, proper disc brakes front and rear, and a fuel-injected 125cc thumper that's genuinely reliable. Used examples are everywhere now, and most have been thrashed by new riders learning the ropes, so inspect the bodywork carefully. These things tip over constantly in parking lots. Check the bar ends, mirrors, and footpegs for scrapes. On the road it's hilariously fun in a way bigger bikes rarely are. You're wringing its neck everywhere, revving to the moon just to keep up with traffic, and somehow that never gets old. It'll cruise 55mph comfortably but freeway riding will rattle your fillings loose. The ergonomics are surprisingly decent for short to medium riders.
