L'injection de carburant constituait une véritable avancée par rapport à la Classic à carburateur ; les démarrages à froid sont immédiats et la réponse de l'accélérateur est nette, sans cette laideur due à une surtension. Avec 358 kg sur sol mouillé, les manœuvres à basse vitesse dans les parkings exigent du respect, mais une fois que vous roulez, ce poids disparaît, et la selle basse de 720 mm permet aux cyclistes de petite taille de ne pas se battre contre le vélo. Mon principal reproche, c'est que les sacoches rigides ont l'air d'origine, mais que le mécanisme de verrouillage est peu coûteux après quelques saisons de crasse sur la route, et que le pare-brise ne protège pas bien les personnes de plus de 180 cm. Vous roulez dans une poche d'air turbulent du cou vers le haut.

These bikes are often bought by aspirational tourers who barely rode them, which means the used market is full of low-mileage examples that sat more than they moved — check for dried-out seals and corrosion around the exhaust. The seat gets punishing after about 150 miles stock, and finding independent mechanics comfortable with the fuel system can be a mission outside major cities. Budget for a new seat immediately.
