La protección contra el viento desde el carenado es realmente excelente para algo tan rápido, y viajar en bicicleta en dos a velocidades de autopista es menos agotador que en cualquier otra bicicleta de un litro que haya pilotado. The ZX-14R is basically a loaded gun with a throttle attached, and I mean that as a compliment. That 1441cc inline-four makes somewhere north of 200 horsepower in stock trim, and it pulls like nothing else at any speed, in any gear. Used examples hold up remarkably well — Kawasaki built these things like tanks, and most owners treat them like museum pieces because they're genuinely intimidating to ride hard. On the used market, watch for front tire wear patterns that suggest track abuse, and always check the frame around the headstock for any signs of a tip-over or worse. The ABS versions from 2012 onwards are worth the premium. Fuel economy is laughable — budget for that. Comfort is surprisingly decent for long hauls given the aggressive seating position, though your wrists will remind you it exists after two hours.
