If you're buying used, first thing to check is the suspension linkage bearings. These dry out fast if the previous owner wasn't diligent with maintenance, and replacements aren't cheap. The fuel-injected engine is genuinely bulletproof though — these motors take a beating and keep running. On the trail it punches above its weight for beginners and returning riders. The 233cc single isn't going to embarrass a KTM 250 EXC, but it's forgiving, predictable, and actually fun when you're not trying to win anything. Seat height catches some shorter riders off guard — it's taller than it looks. Suspension is soft from the factory, which suits beginners but frustrates anyone over 180lbs pushing harder terrain.
