In der Stadt und auf kurvigen Bundesstraßen ist der 373-cm³-Tumper wirklich fesselnd. Er zieht sauber ab 4.000 Umdrehungen pro Minute und die WP-Federung schluckt unwegsamen Asphalt besser, als es das Preisschild vermuten lässt. Aber wenn man eine Fahrt länger als zwei Stunden dauert, beißt die Realität hart zu — dieser minimalistische Sitz ist im Grunde eine Planke, der Windschutz ist nicht vorhanden, und Vibrationen durch die Lenker werden zu einem ständigen Begleiter über 110 km/h. Die Zuverlässigkeit hielt sich über 14.000 km, obwohl die Lagerkette schneller abgenutzt war, als sie es verdient hatte, und die geländegängigen Lenkerenden sind ein Fingerabdruckmagnet, der kratzt, wenn man sie falsch betrachtet.
