Yamaha Tracer 9 Gt Review
"The sharpest sport-tourer bargain available under ten grand today."
Used Buyer Review
The Tracer 9 GT is genuinely one of the smartest used buys in the sport-touring segment right now. You're getting a genuinely brilliant CP3 engine — the same three-cylinder that powers the MT-09 — but here it's wrapped in a genuinely usable touring package with cruise control, heated grips, and semi-active suspension standard. Previous owners have typically hammered these on long hauls, so check service history religiously and inspect the chain and sprockets carefully. The semi-active Öhlins setup transformed what was a bouncy predecessor into something genuinely confidence-inspiring. Cornering ABS and traction control are properly calibrated, not just checkbox features. One honest caveat: the screen buffeting is real and annoying at motorway speeds for taller riders, and no amount of adjustment fully solves it. Budget for an aftermarket screen. Also inspect the quickshifter for smooth operation — some early units developed hesitation that frustrates more than it should on a bike this capable.
