Yamaha Nmax 125 Review
"The benchmark used 125 scooter if you buy carefully."
Used Buyer Review
The NMAX 125 is probably the sharpest-looking 125 scooter you can buy used, and Yamaha's build quality means most examples hold up surprisingly well. The Blue Core engine is smooth and genuinely frugal — expect 90-plus mpg without trying. Suspension is plush enough for city work, and the twin rear shocks actually give you something resembling feel. At speed, the NMAX sits comfortably at 60-65mph without screaming, which puts it ahead of cheaper alternatives on longer commutes. That said, buying used means checking a few things carefully. The CVT belt wears faster than owners admit — listen for any slipping or hesitation on acceleration. ABS models are worth the premium, especially on older examples where the front brake feel can get spongy with age. Plastic bodywork scratches if you look at it wrong, so inspect panels closely before handing over money.
