Yamaha Fascino 125 Review
"The sensible scooter choice that almost never disappoints its owner."
Used Buyer Review
The Fascino 125 is Yamaha doing what Yamaha does best — building something reliable enough to embarrass bikes twice its price. The Blue Core engine is genuinely impressive for a 125cc scooter; it sips fuel and rarely complains. On used examples, check the CVT belt around 20,000km because owners often skip it, and listen for any rattling from the underseat storage area — cheap plastic clips crack early. The chassis handles city traffic with surprising confidence, and the braking is decent for the class. That said, don't expect excitement. This is a commuter, not a canyon carver, and the suspension gets sloppy on rougher surfaces with a pillion aboard. Parts availability is good in most Asian markets but can be patchy elsewhere. Resale value stays strong, which means sellers know what they have — don't expect a steal. Check service history obsessively; neglected oil changes on these engines show up fast as top-end wear.
