The Boulevard C50 is Suzuki's answer to the entry-level cruiser market, and honestly, it does the job better than its modest reputation suggests. The 805cc V-twin pulls smoothly from low revs, the seating position is genuinely comfortable for all-day riding, and the build quality holds up surprisingly well on older examples. It's not exciting — let's be honest about that — but excitement isn't what this bike is selling. Used examples are everywhere, which works in your favor. Look for bikes between 2005-2015 with under 15,000 miles. Common issues include carburetor gunk on bikes that sat unused and fork seal weeps on higher-mileage units — both cheap fixes. The shaft drive is a genuine selling point; no chain maintenance means previous owners had fewer things to neglect. For the money, it's hard to argue against. Resale value is stable but not aggressive, so you won't get burned on the exit. Just don't expect Harley cachet or sporty handling — this bike knows exactly what it is.
