Piaggio Medley S 150 Review
"A genuinely premium urban scooter that demands diligent maintenance history."
Used Buyer Review
The Medley S 150 is one of those scooters that feels genuinely premium until you start digging into the ownership costs. The ride quality is legitimately impressive for a 150 — that long-travel suspension soaks up city garbage beautifully, and the under-seat storage plus front cubby makes it genuinely practical for daily commuting. HPi anti-lock brakes on a 150cc scooter was a bold move from Piaggio, and they work exactly as advertised. This isn't a toy. Here's where it gets real though: Piaggio dealer networks are thin in most of North America, and parts availability can make you want to throw things. The CVT belt needs replacing around 10,000 miles and the dealer labor rates are eye-watering. Check service history obsessively before buying used — neglected Medleys develop throttle body issues and the fuel injection system gets temperamental with old fuel sitting in it. Budget an extra $300-400 for a proper service immediately after purchase regardless of what the seller claims.
