Piaggio Medley 125 Review
"A genuinely premium urban scooter that rewards buyers who check history carefully."
Used Buyer Review
The Medley 125 is one of those scooters that genuinely punches above its displacement. The underseat storage swallows a full-face helmet without complaint, the connected bodywork looks properly premium, and that front suspension setup is noticeably more planted than budget rivals. If you're buying used, check the ABS pump — early units had warranty claims, and it's expensive to replace privately. The variable valve timing system (iGet engine) is clever but needs clean oil to stay happy, so demand full service history or walk away. Realistically, 125cc means you're sitting around 60-65mph on a motorway, which gets old fast. It's genuinely happiest in urban environments where the smooth throttle response and excellent brakes shine. Rust around the footboard hinges is common on anything over three years old — purely cosmetic but worth negotiating on. Tyres wear faster than you'd expect given the weight, so budget for a set within the first year of ownership.
