Honda Super Cub 125 Review
"The most sensible, enjoyable small bike money can buy used."
Used Buyer Review
The Super Cub 125 is genuinely one of the smartest used buys in motorcycling right now. Honda's build quality means even higher-mileage examples — 15,000 miles plus — are typically solid if they've had basic maintenance. The fuel-injected engine from 2019 onward is particularly bulletproof, and parts availability is excellent. Check the chain wear, inspect the automatic clutch for smooth engagement, and make sure the front drum brake (on earlier UK models) hasn't been neglected. What nobody tells you is how addictive this thing is. It's not fast — 70mph is working hard — but around town and on back roads it's genuinely joyful. The semi-automatic gearbox clicks through perfectly and the fuel economy is almost embarrassing. Seventy miles per gallon is realistic. Storage is surprisingly useful and the center stand makes chain maintenance dead easy. Used prices have held stubbornly firm because demand is strong and supply isn't huge. Don't expect bargains, but you'll recoup most of your money selling it on.
