Honda Silver Wing 600 Review
"Brilliant used buy if you find a well-serviced clean example."
Used Buyer Review
The Silver Wing 600 is genuinely one of the most underrated big scooters Honda ever built. That parallel twin pulls hard from low revs, and the automatic DCT-style transmission means you're just pointing and going — seriously relaxing for commuting or long-distance touring. The underseat storage is cavernous, wind protection is surprisingly decent, and it'll sit comfortably at motorway speeds all day without complaint. It's a proper machine, not some toy. Buying used though, you need to be sharp. Check the CVT belt — replacement isn't cheap and owners often neglect it. Look for coolant leaks around the water pump housing, classic weak spot on higher-mileage examples. Suspension bushings wear quietly and owners ignore them. Any bike over 30,000 miles needs a thorough going-over before you commit. Service history is non-negotiable here. Pricing is still sensible, and parts availability from Honda dealers remains solid. You're getting a lot of motorcycle for the money if you buy a clean one — but a neglected example will bleed you dry.
