Honda Crf250l Review
"The most sensible used bike you'll ever mildly regret."
Used Buyer Review
The CRF250L is Honda's answer to 'I want adventure but also a parking space.' It's honest, reliable, and about as exciting as toast — which isn't always a bad thing. The 249cc single fires up every time, sips fuel like it's apologizing for existing, and the suspension handles rutted trails and potholes with genuine competence. Parts are everywhere and mechanics don't groan when you wheel one in. Buying used, check the air filter religiously — previous owners treat these as set-and-forget machines and a neglected filter wrecks the top end fast. The stock exhaust is strangled for emissions, so most used examples will already have an aftermarket pipe, which genuinely wakes the motor up. Front brake fade is real on longer descents, worth noting. It won't embarrass you on gravel roads or commutes, but freeway riders will feel the engine working hard above 65mph. This is a machine that rewards patience and punishes ambition.
