Honda Activa 5g Review
"The sensible, boring choice that'll never actually disappoint you."
Used Buyer Review
Look, the Activa 5G isn't trying to be anything it's not — and that's honestly its biggest strength. Honda sorted the basics properly here: the 109cc engine is practically indestructible, fuel economy sits around 45-50kmpl in real-world riding, and the CBS braking system actually works when some idiot cuts you off. I've seen these things hit 60,000km with nothing more than oil changes and the occasional belt swap. For urban commuting, it's genuinely hard to argue against. That said, go in with your eyes open on the used market. Check the telescopic front fork for oil seepage — Honda cheaped out on seal quality on earlier 5G units. The underseat storage is laughably small compared to competitors, and anything above 80kmph feels genuinely unpleasant. Inspect the CVT belt carefully; neglected ones will leave you stranded. Ask for service records and walk away if they can't produce them — proper owners of these always have paperwork.
