Honda Activa 3g Review
"Bulletproof city commuter that rewards patient, diligent used buyers."
Used Buyer Review
The Activa 3G is Honda's bread-and-butter scooter, and honestly, it earned that reputation for good reason. The 109cc engine is almost indestructible if the previous owner bothered with basic maintenance — oil changes every 2,000km and these things just keep running. Throttle response is smooth, the CVT transmission is butter-soft, and for urban commuting it genuinely nails the brief. Check the telescopic front forks for leaks, because neglected ones get expensive fast. Used examples are everywhere, which cuts both ways. Supply is great for pricing, but sorting the abused ones from the well-kept ones requires homework. Look for service records, check the undercarriage for scrape damage from kerb-hopping, and always start it cold — a warm engine hides a multitude of sins. The drum brakes are adequate but never exciting, and the 60km/h comfort ceiling means anything resembling highway riding feels genuinely sketchy. Buy it for what it is: a reliable, fuss-free city tool.
